Facial Exercises You Can Do for Each Part of Your Face

One effective yet simple way of achieving fresh and young looking way without having to spend a lot is to do facial exercises. Once you've started with these exercises, you have to ensure that you do them every day until you get used to it. Then you can start having the routine at least three times a week.

There are many exercises that you can do for you face, here are some which focuses on improving the cheeks, eyes, lips and forehead.

Eye Exercises

Working on your PC and too much TV can stress out the eyes. Some exercise you can do to relax the eye muscles is to simply sit upright and close your eyes. While your eyes are closed, look down as far as you can. Then open your eyes and this time; look as far away as possible. And then lift your brows slowly and keep it that way for as long as you are comfortable.

Cheek Exercises

The cheeks are part of the face which is easily noticed. You have to keep them relaxed and practice exercises which will help avoid them from sagging. An exercise you can do is to close your lips in a relaxed manner and slowly make a pout. This exercise should be repeated ten times. Smiling exercise is another effective way to firm up the cheeks. Just smile and then count to five before you relax back.

Exercise for the forehead

Wrinkles are first noticed in the forehead and this is why it is important that you give a lot of attention to this part of your face when doing exercises. You can relax your forehead muscles simply by sitting in an upright position and bringing your brows down. Then wrinkle your nose ten times - do five sets of this exercise. You can also lie on back and stare up the ceiling, then while staring, lift up your eyebrows. This can be done in sets of ten as well.

Exercise for the lips

Some exercises that you can do for the lips are to pucker up to bring the corners of the mouth together, count to five and then relax. This will need about five repetitions. You may also close your lips and curl them into your mouth, hold them in and count to ten.

Facial exercises are inexpensive and non-evasive way of achieving younger looking face and an improved appearance. You don't have to spend on surgeries and cosmetics to prevent aging and wrinkles.

Simply by including these exercises in your routines, you can stimulate your facial muscles, achieve firm skin and stall the signs of aging.
